Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I love Not Me! Monday! Where you can be honest about things you might not want to admit.

We had a busy weekend complete with extra drama from my boys. I thought I would share some of my boys' behaviors this weekend with the NOT MY CHILD version of Not Me! Monday! Try to guess who did what...

My child did NOT repeatedly stick his tongue out at me in front of the entire congregation at church.

My child did NOT say "this sh#@ is sad" while watching the beginning of Nemo.

My child did NOT wet his pants because he didn't want to stop playing.

My child did NOT say "then I hate you" everytime he did not get his way.

My child did NOT insist on ordering a big salad at a restaurant, then take one bite.

My child did NOT ask to sing in front of his friends, only to begin sobbing when they stopped to listen.

My child did NOT punch his brother as hard as he could in the ribs.

My child did NOT sneak candy to bed and make a huge mess.

My child did NOT sneak my favorite earrings to his hidden stash.

Share the fun and tell me what your child did NOT do this weekend!

Pumpkin Masterpieces

Happy Halloween!

Jackson made the ghost. My favorite!

Boo to you!

The boys' creations: Tuck- all black, Griff- polka dots (with a signature G by Mom), Jackson- "man-o-lantern"

We had such fun painting our pumpkins. I was proud of my boys' masterpieces. We are having a "Halloween Hoobilation" at our house on Halloween filled with hayrides, pin the nose on the pumpkin, soup, snacks, outdoor fire, trick-or-treating, friends, family and more...

My First Diaper Cake

I'm having a baby shower for my friend Jennifer, who is expecting a sweet baby girl! I have had such fun buying "pink" things since the only baby things I've ever known were blue! The Jolly Podgers (see www.sunnyinchina.blogspot.com) made the precious letters you see. The diaper cake is going to be the centerpiece for the table and Jenn's gift from me. I hope she likes it.

Photos in no particular order. My camera has been Missing In Action for several months, so this is the best I have. I found it though and am once again inspired to blog...

Show Choir Mini Clinic

Tucker went to show choir clinic one day for about an hour, got a snack and a t-shirt and decided he needed his Mom. On demonstration day, he found the one dangerous item in the back and led all of his friends to follow in his misdoings. I fear that many parents will be saying one day, "If Tucker jumped off a bridge, would you?"
(Tucker, Jillian, Griffin)

Griffin was in complete heaven. He loved every minute of the singing, dancing, props, snacks, socializing. He asked me every minute of every day this week if it was time for show choir camp. His group did "Annie" and he had the solo, "it's easier than putting up a fight."

(Griffin and Jillian)

Jackson's group did "Grease" and he was the only boy with many, many girls. He loved every minute of it and did an awesome job with his "I got chills..." solo, even if I am his Mom. He loved his group leader Zoey. My heart smiles to see him perform and be so comfortable and love it like I once did. He did take after me after all...
